Who you are dealing with

NameBearing is a product of Kettle & Haven LLC, a Colorado limited liability company. When you buy a report, your contract is with that company. "We" and "us" on this page mean the company.

What we sell

We sell research reports about domain names you are considering. You give us up to five candidate domains and, for the Domain Decision Report, a short brief about your business. We collect public records about each name, compare them, and write up the findings. The report is delivered to a private page: the snapshot as soon as it is produced, the decision report once a person has checked it.

A report is informational research. It is not legal advice, not a trademark opinion, and not clearance to use a name. We do not purchase, broker, reserve, or transfer any domain on your behalf. Registration status and prices can change after we look; check again before you buy a name.

How a report is produced and checked

Reports are researched from public sources at the time your order runs. Before a decision report is released, a person reads it and either releases it, sends it back for another pass, or refuses it and refunds you; the snapshot is released without that check. Our checks confirm that every candidate you submitted is covered, that each observation cites its source, and that facts we observed are kept separate from judgments we drew from them. Where public evidence is missing, the report says so rather than filling the gap.

Because the research works from public sources at the moment it runs, a report can be incomplete or out of date. Read it as a starting point for your own decision, not as a substitute for it.

Price and payment

Prices are shown on the pricing page in US dollars (USD) and are one-time fees per order. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number. Your card statement will show NAMEBEARING.

Research begins as soon as payment is confirmed. What happens when research cannot be completed, and when a delivered report falls short, is set out in the refund policy.

What we ask of you

• Give us an e-mail address you control. The private link to your report goes there.
• Submit domain names and a brief that you have the right to share with us.
• Use the report for your own decision. Do not resell it or present it as independent legal or financial advice.
• Do not probe, overload, or interfere with the site or the report delivery system.

Your report and our work

Once delivered, your report is yours to keep and use. The software, the writing style, and the checks that produce reports remain ours. The public facts a report cites belong to their sources; we credit them, we do not own them.

Limits of our responsibility

We take care to be accurate, and we tell you where we could not be. Beyond that, a report is provided as it is, without any promise about its completeness or about the outcome of any decision you make with it.

If we fall short, our responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question. We are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost business or the cost of a name you chose not to buy or chose to buy.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when. An order is governed by the terms shown on the day you paid.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute that cannot be settled by talking to us will be heard in the courts of Colorado.
