WHY NOT JUST ASK FOR FREE
Use the free tools to make the shortlist.
They are good at that, and they cost nothing. This is for the part after that: the morning you are about to spend real money on one of the names, and getting it wrong is expensive in a way that a second opinion is not.
Five differences that show up on the day you decide.
What it does about the money you are about to spend
Nothing. It was never told what you have on order.
Names what to hold -- the print run, the decals, the logo package, the defensive registrations -- and the one thing that has to land before you release any of it.
What it is answering
The question you typed.
Your brief. It does not start until you have said who has to hear the name, where you operate, what you can spend, and where you intend to take the business.
If none of the five works
You will still get an answer.
The report says so, and says what would have to change for one of them to work.
The questions it could not settle
Usually answered anyway.
Named as open questions, inside the report. Rights and prior use are not searched here either, and the report says that plainly rather than implying otherwise.
If it is wrong
Nothing happens.
A cited source that does not support the observation attached to it is a re-run or a refund. Your choice, for fourteen days.
The rest of the comparison is what you would expect and is worth one line: the free answer is free and lives in a chat history; this one costs $29 once, covers up to five names, reads each name's registry record and live response during your order, stamps every observation with the address it came from and the time it was read, and stays on your own report page afterwards.
What it will not do, in writing.
- It will not tell you a name is available. A registry record that comes back empty is not a purchase, a price, or an owner, and the report is not permitted to read it as one.
- It is informational research, not legal advice and not trademark clearance.
- It does not register, buy, or transfer any domain for you.
Try it both ways.
Put your shortlist to a free assistant, then read the sample report. If the free answer names its sources and the time it read them, tells you which of your pending orders to hold, and says which questions it could not settle, skip the report. We would rather you ran that comparison than took our word for it.
